Sorry folks, but the lack of available time means that I will most likely not be updating The Atomic Edge any more…
Maybe one day, we shall see.

Shadow Complex looks amazing.
It’s a 2.5D Metroid/Castlevania style game heading to the Xbox Live arcade this summer.
I’m really looking forward to this one, as I never fully absorbed the Castlevania games, and people keep telling me they are amazing.
It’s due August 19th, exclusively on the Xbox Live Arcade.
Well it seems that the worst kept secret in gaming has been leaked again! For real this time!
Some hi-res pictures have appeared on EuroGamer of what seems to be a finished prototype of the PSP Go! and a video was up on YouTube showing off some of the new features, but unsurprisingly this has since been “Removed by the User”, no doubt after “The User” was reminded about how many lawyers Sony has…

It seems that things in Liberty City are about to get a little bit more Super (thanks for asking).
Rockstar have just announced the second Xbox 360 exclusive Grant Theft Auto IV episode called “The Ballad of Gay Tony”. You play Luis Lopez, a general ne’er-do-well and assistant to legendary nightclub owner Tony “Gay Tony” Prince. Throughout the episode, Luis will have to work for Gay Tony, and his associates, while trying to stay alive. Also, and I’m sure that this will not surprise anyone, he will have to watch his back, as he isn’t quite sure if Tony can be trusted…
I almost wrote “will have to keep his back against the wall”, but luckily, I didn’t…
It’s out this Autumn on the Xbox 360, for 1600 points.

The new logo is FAAAABULOUS!

Okay so I came across this trailer over on GiantBomb.com for a movie with a stupid plot. There is a new “Game” out, where you take over the body of a convicted inmate, and fight in deathmatches.
Yeah, I laughed too, but then I watched the trailer, and no matter how stupid the plot, I can’t help wanting to see this movie!
There are more explosions in this trailer then there are in most wars!
Nuff Said, can’t wait for this from the always great Q.T
A bit of Marvel Film info from Empire. Got to love a “Good” comic book flick!

New District 9 Poster. The next Cloverfield?

The first sci-fi I loved was star trek. When I was a kid I would watch it after school it was great and full of adventure. I have watched the Classics, Next Gen, DS9 and Voyager. And then came Enterprise the terrible Prequel that I gave up on, add to that Nemesis the last Next Gen movie and it was clear my beloved Trek had gotten stale, old. Then JJ Abrams came along and I’m pleased to say has given us a fresh, new and exciting movie.
Still feel as excited as I did in the cinema lobby yesterday, this movie rocked in everyway! The battles and effects are breath taking from epic explosions to amazing battle scenes, watch as woman gets sucked out of the ship from the noise and panic to the silence of space. It’s also got a wonderful sense of humour. The new cast is great, I loved Karl Urban as Bones and he talks just as bones should. Spock and Kirk are also great and carry the movie so well, also Simon Pegg “genius casting”. I also spotted a Tribble, A TRIBBLE!
I want to see it again I want to see more films from this new crew. But the most exciting thing? People are going to see it who are not fan boys. Its great, people are seeing Trek in a new light. Its an incredible film… I want to see it again.

The third in the series of Fallout 3 downloadable content, Broken Steel, is now available for download on the Xbox Live Marketplace for 800 Microsoft Points (which makes a whopping 2400 points if you’ve bought all 3 DLC’s so far, I’m starting to think all these DLCs are a rob, that’s about £20 already with more DLCs in the pipeline).
Broken Steel adds in 3 new quests, 6 very unimaginative achievements for 150G and raises the level cap from 20 to 30.
There was also a small update released on 29/04/09 which you will have to install when you load the game, if you haven’t already that is.
And here’s a tip I stole from xbox360achievements.org:
“Broken Steel may not be showing up under the “New Arrivals” tab at the moment, but if you navigate to the Fallout 3 game page under “All Game Add-Ons,” you should find it there.”
